Runita was my first cousin. My dad, Hoyt Brown is her uncle on her dad, Lloyd, family. I have many fond memories of spending summers playing jump rope, pretending and just being kids together when she would visit our Grandmother, Natie Brown. We visited her a few years ago at her home. She was the same precious giving, happy person I remembered as a child. She truly loved God, her church family and her babies! I can still hear her laughing tell us funny stories. We exchanged some old photos and had a great visit. It made my daddy so happy to see her. I know our words can’t bring comfort but trusting and knowing she’s In Heaven with all those she loved is a blessing. We’re keeping y’all in our prayers.
