Funeral services for Marilynn A. Wilkins, age 82, of Wadley will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 12:00 noon at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Sprayberry officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Christian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Sunday before services begin.

Mrs. Wilkins passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023, at her home.

Survivors include: one daughter, Sharon Mackel of Wadley; one son, James David Wilkins of Valley; three grandchildren, Brittney Knight (Brandon), Sherrer Brooks, and Stevie Wilkins (Kyneal); four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Jim Goodall (Sally) of Michigan.

Pallbearers will be David Brooks Stevie Wilkins, Ed Mackel, and Jim Norris.

A Michigan native, Mrs. Wilkins was born on June 21, 1940, the daughter of John Millard and Pauline Ladd.  She was Christian by faith and worked as an LPN for Randolph County Hospital and Traylor’s Nursing Home.  Mrs. Wilkins loved to crochet and animals were her passion.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Calvin Wilkins and a son, Steve Wilkins.
