Funeral Services for Darthy Jean Burell Lewis, 83, of Roanoke, will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Home with Rev. Jamie Kelley officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, February 17, 2023.

Mrs. Lewis passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at her residence.

Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Pollard (Tim) of Roanoke; Grandson, Jimmy Wayne Rowe, Jr. (Cherish) of Gardendale, Ala.; granddaughter, Lori Windsor (Gordon); great-grandchildren, Jimmy James and Allison Clegg, Ryker, Jaxson, and Sawyer Rowe; and sisters, Virginia Holloway of Roanoke, Ala. Glenida Scott Dean of Roanoke, Ala. and Lillin Taylor of Graham, Ala.

A Chambers County native, Mrs. Lewis was born on July 30, 1939, the daughter of William O. and Cora Smith Brown.  She was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church and worked in housekeeping at Roanoke Hospital. Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, William Burell and Samuel Lewis; daughter, Patsy D. Rowe; an infant brother and infant sister; and great-granddaughter, Cadence Rowe.
