Arthur Wayne "Ott" Watson, age 68, of Roanoke passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at his home in Roanoke.

The family will receive friends at Quattlebaum Funeral Home from 4:00-6:00 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

Survivors include: an ex-wife, Brenda Faye Watson of Wadley; one daughter, Sommer Melton (Troy) of Wadley; two sons, Billy C. Watson (Kim) of Roanoke and Adam B. Watson (Rebekah) of LaGrange, GA; and seven grandchildren, Bailey Watson, Lauren Melton, Trent Melton, Jessica Royston, Blake Watson, Harper Watson, and Lydia Watson.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Watson was born in Atlanta, GA, on July 27, 1954, the son of Olif D. and Mattie Sue Edmondson Watson.  He was Christian by faith and worked as a painter.  Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James Watson and John Wayne Watson; and a sister, Katherine Anglin.
