A celebration of life for Eunice Ann Nichols Johnson, age 89, of Wadley will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 PM before services begin. 

Mrs. Johnson passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at her residence.

Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Ann Goldsworthy, Mary Johnson Lowe, Roberta Carol Snyder, Patricia Mae Thompson (Jerry), and Pamela Knudsen (Todie); seven grandchildren, Michelle Culbertson King, Russell Culbertson, Angela Smart, Megan Luntz, Victoria Morgan, Shelby Knudsen, and Taylor Knudsen; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Malone, NY on July 3, 1933, the daughter of Edmond Joseph and Mary Catherine O’Brien Nichols. She was Catholic by faith and worked as a nurse for Randolph County Hospital and Central Alabama Home Health. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert “Bob” Johnson; brother, Wilford Nichols; and sister, Marie Alberico.

She loved animals, and especially her rescues. So, the family requests that donations be made to the Randolph County Animal Shelter in her memory. Online condolences may be expressed at www.quattlebaumfuneralhome.com.
