Funeral services for William (Will) Jacob “Blinky” Wilkerson, age 53, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Wally Williamson and Bro. Ricky Etchison officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Mills Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday.

Mr. Wilkerson passed away surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, April 6, 2023, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Lolley Wilkerson; grandmother, Eileen Watts; two grandchildren, Serenity and Brenleigh; a host of nieces and nephews, including three special nieces, Sunshine, Lani, and Ashley and special nephew, Nathan; two sisters, Mylinda Bevels (Brian Lumpkin) and Amanda Wilkerson; step-sister, Melinda; step-brother, Glen; godson, Hunter Ray (Rhonda) and daughter, Kayla (B.J.), and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Michael Whaley, Kevin Johnson, James Whaley, Brian Lumpkin, Steve Snow, and Brian Bevels. Honorary pallbearers will be Timothy Baker, Paul Loveless, Kim Whaley, Jonathan Walker, Devon Williamson, Tony Lawson, Johnny Davidson, Billy Worthy, Holden Wright, Marty Wright, and Carl Britt.

A Roanoke native, Mr. Wilkerson was born on December 18, 1969, the son of Ronald Wilkerson and Margaret Watts. He was a member of Zion Rest Bible Church and worked as a detailer for 431 Auto.
