Obituary of Patsy Ann Overton
Funeral Services for Patsy Ann Overton, age 76, of Opelika, will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bobby Overton officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Christian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6:00-8:00 PM.
Mrs. Overton passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, at Piedmont Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.
Survivors include her sons, Tim Overton (Tomorra) of Sioux Falls, SD., Terry Overton (Tammy) of Henderson, TX., and Rance Overton (Emily) of Roanoke, AL.; daughter, Michelle Overton of Opelika, AL.; and nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dylan Evans, Micah Savell, Billy Newsome, Hotrod McCain, Kenny Halsey, and Dakota Overton.
Mrs. Overton was born in Anniston, Alabama, on December 4, 1946, the daughter of Homer Lee Fincher and Mary Jewel Horne Fincher. She was a member of Bellwood Church of God in Columbus, GA. and spent her time as a stay-at-home wife and mother. She enjoyed puzzle books and reading in her spare time. She loved the Lord, was a die hard Alabama fan, Roll Tide! and her greatest joy was raising her children. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Barry Conway; sister, Faye Swope; and brother, Wayne Casey.
