OBITUARY
Funeral services for Juanita Simpson, age 87, of Roanoke, will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at 11:00 am from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Harmony Methodist Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 am on Wednesday.
Mrs. Simpson died Monday, June 25, 2012, at Traylor Nursing Home.
Survivors include a sister, Pauline Garrett of Roanoke; a brother, Braxton Garrett of Wadley; several nieces and nephews.
A Randolph County native, Mrs. Simpson was born August 3, 1924, daughter of J. H. and Heard Estell Poole Garrett. She was a member of Harmony Methodist Church and had retired from LaMar Manufacturing Company. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Morris Simpson; daughter, Judy Simpson; son, Steve Simpson; three sisters and two brothers.
