Obituary of Sarabeth N Taft

Funeral services for Sarabeth N. Taft, age 84, of Roanoke will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. David Taft officiating.  Burial will follow at Wehadkee Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00-7:00 PM on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

Mrs. Taft passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, at Traylor’s Nursing Center in Roanoke.

Survivors include: three sons, Alan Taft of Round O, SC, Keith Taft (Rita) of Wadley, and Kyle Taft of Rock Mills; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Pike and Kenneth Pike, Charles Taft, and Timothy Nunnally.

A Rock Mills native, Mrs. Taft was born on October 9, 1938, the daughter of William Otto and Margie Ruth Bonner Newell.  She was retired from Amoco Fabrics and Fibers.  Mrs. Taft was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Taft; son, Alvin Taft; and a sister, Margie Ann Newell.
