Obituary of Doris Noles

OBITUARY Funeral services for Doris Noles, age 86, of Roanoke, will be held 3:30 pm, Friday, June 29, 2012, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Dean officiating. Burial to follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm on Friday, June 29th, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Sam Shelnutt, Jimmy McKinney, Mike Clark, Tommy Huey, Byron Morrison, Rick Pound and Brian Huey. Mrs. Noles died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at East Alabama Medical Center. Mrs. Noles is survived by one niece, Nan Pound of Dadeville; three nephews, Tommy Huey of Roaoke, Mike Clark of Lilburn, GA, Regan Clark of Piedmont. Mrs. Noles was born November 8, 1925, the daughter of Oscar Dewey and Alice Green Harper. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Roanoke and had been a teller for Southtrust and City Bank. Mrs. Noles was preceded in death by her husband, James Ernest Noles and her parents. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Roanoke.
