I sure will miss our long conversations and will be forever grateful for all you have done for us kids & grandkids. You showed absolutely nothing but compassion and love for everyone you encountered. I’m so glad we spoke last week and I got to hear you say,” Oh I’m a be ok, don’t worry, I love you” I just wish that wasn’t the last time I’d hear you call and say it’s your grandpa! I pray you are with Gabe running around with your healed new body, playing football like old times! We will miss you Pops ❤️ love you!

Quattlebaum’s was founded in 1930 by Robert B. Quattlebaum on Roanoke’s West Point Street. Relocated to Maple Drive, Quattlebaum Funeral Home was just across from Knight Sanatorium for many years. In 1953, a new building was constructed on College Street – where the funeral home is today.
