Sister Morris is what I remember
calling her in church when growing up with Teresa and Randy. Sister Morris was always kind to me as a child and as an adult, always so inviting in her home. She had a really sweet spirit and she will truly be missed.

Narrowing down what to say about my Aunt Mavis is almost impossible. She was such an incredible woman, who inspired me everyday. I do however, have three very distinct memories about Aunt Mavis that has shaped me into the person I am today. When I was in highschool, I went to visit Aunt Mavis in the city. When Uncle Jake picked me up from the bus station, I was amazed at the size of their house. I felt as though I was in a manson. The house was filled with beautiful statues, pottery, and decoration. Randy and I went to a ballgame to watch Teresa, and I vividly remember Randy driving recklessly. As soon as I got home, I wanted to tell Aunt Mavis, but I knew I probably shouldn’t. After all, I was a country hick and they were city sleekers. After a few years, Aunt Mavis and Uncle Jake moved to the country. Aunt Mavis decorated the house beautifully with flowers and decor on the side of a shed building. She even planted flowers in some old rainboots. I was so incredibly impressed by Aunt Mavis’ style of decorating and it truely was an art. I distinctly remember Aunt Mavis’ chicken coops, farm, and blueberry vineyard. She had which seemed like hundreds of rows of blueberry veins, which me and my dad picked. Aunt Mavis made the best homemade blueberry pies that she would sell at the flea market. Aunt Mavis was such a precious soul that was truly inspiring. I love you Aunt Mavis.
