Obituary of Willie "Junior" Towler

Funeral services for Willie P. “Junior” Towler, age 81, of Rock Mills, will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tommy Burke and Rev. Stanley Yarbrough officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.

Mr. Towler passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Well Star West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Towler of Rock Mills; one daughter, Lisa Brinson (Sheldon) of Peachtree City, GA.; three sons, Jeff Towler (LeAnne) of Brooks, GA, Willie Towler (Ashley) of Memphis, TN, and Chris Towler (Kim) of Rock Mills; one sister, Mary Sheppard of Rock Mills; one brother, Jamie Towler (Teresa) of Rock Mills; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Rock Mills native, Mr. Towler was born April 30, 1942, the son of Willie P. (Bo) and Ida Mae Burke Towler.  He was a member of Rock Mills Baptist Church and had been employed as a mechanic with P. F. Moon in West Point, GA.  Junior Towler loved his family and was very sociable, never met a stranger.
