Obituary of Lilton Denson Dunlap
Funeral services for Lilton Denson Dunlap, age 81, of Roanoke, will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Allan Daniel, Bro. Greg Moore and Bro. Lee Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Taylor’s Crossroads Church of Christ Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Thursday.
Mr. Dunlap passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
Survivors include one daughter, Karen Wilson (Faron) of Enterprise; one son, Keith Dunlap of Roanoke; three grandchildren, Stephanie Gallagher of Norfolk, VA, Nicco LoPorto of Dothan and Landon Wilson of Auburn; two great-grandchildren, Bailey LoPorto and Brentley Gallagher; one brother, Ricky Dunlap of Opelika.
A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mr. Dunlap was born October 24, 1941, the son of Homer and Celeste Overton Dunlap. He was a member of Taylor’s Crossroads Church of Christ and had been employed with Handley Mills, Amoco Fabrics & Fibers and Roanoke Healthcare. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathryn Dunlap; one daughter, Regina Dunlap; ten brothers and sisters.
