I cannot imagine the pain in your hearts. The world isn't as bright without Jesse's beautiful, contagious smile, that I will forever miss. Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers, that God give you comfort and healing. Love y'all all.

Jesse and Dale were raised with our sons in church. Our hearts are broken to see your precious Jesse gone too soon. Jesse was always a breath of fresh air with his happy smile. But we are grateful that he is now in the arms of Jesus until we meet again. Amen!

I was 15 when I met jesse. He was always goofy and always knew how to make you laugh. We became best friends while I was in the girls home (he attended the church that the girls home I was in was through). We ended up getting married and having two beautiful girls together, over those 10 years we had hard times and shared amazing experiences, things ended up for us but one thing I knew more than anything is he loved his girls more than life itself. Jesse you were awesome and I know your spirit will live in through our girls. He did remarry and my prayers will continue to be with her and her kids as well as his parents and family during this time. Fly high jesse.

I'll never forget the time I met the Meeks family. I was 15 years old in the girls Pearls of Promise Girls Home and the Meeks were going to the church I was sent to. When I met Jesse he was always smiling no matter what and was always with his brother Dale they were inseparable. Church functions they were there laughing and talking. The thing I remember most about Jesse is his smile and being super friendly. Someone you could go to and talk to about anything. A wonderful friend! Thank you Jesse for my memories :-)

I am so sorry to hear about Jesse's passing. During my time at RMS, he was an upstanding and dependable student. I only had to hint that I needed something done and he was ready to help with anything. It was obvious that he had a love for his family and wanted to be a good example. He was also a hard worker the year that I coached basketball!! I know that he will be missed. my sincerest sympathy for his family. My prayers are for your happy memories and comfort.

I remember first meeting the Meeks. I was about eleven, and he was young like knee high maybe. I remember how Jessie and Dale was always simling no matter what, was going on and always had something important to say. When I got older I became real close friends to them and he still had that smile I can't remember seeing him without it and no matter what he had going on in his life he always tried to cheer u up! You will be missed Jessie! Not a doubt in my mind u will be waiting on us. I bet you really got a smile now. Love you! JENNY AND JEFF YOUNG.

Jesse was a very loving person. When he hugged you it wasn't just a hug, you could actually feel the love that came with it. Once he told me I looked nice that day at church and for an old woman that really stuck with me, because he was still a young man.. Jesse you really radiated Love, and we hope to come see you again one day when our time comes to go home.
