Graveside memorial services for Michael Doyle “Mike” Kirby, age 61, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 2:00 PM at White’s Chapel Methodist Cemetery.

Mr. Kirby passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023, at his residence.

Survivors include one brother, Marvin Kirby (Karen) of Roanoke; nephew, Joshua Kirby (Shelly); niece, Tiffany Anglin (Danny); and two aunts, Aileen Driver and Debra Hurley, both of Roanoke; and an uncle, Frank Hurley of Roanoke.

A lifelong Roanoke resident, Mr. Kirby was born on July 9, 1961, the son of Edgar Doyle and Rebecca “Becky” Hurley Kirby.  He was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church and worked as a diesel mechanic for WW Trucking.  Mr. Kirby was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janice Rebecca Kirby.
