Obituary of Jerry Matthew Rollins

Funeral services for JErry Matthew Rollins, 70, of Woodland, will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Rocky Branch Baptist Church with Bro. Clayton Scott officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:30AM on Saturday.

Mr. Rollins passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Diversicare Nursing Home in Oxford.

Survivors include one sister, Linda Farmer of Carrollton, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Rollins was born on February 14, 1953, the son of Owen Matthew and Beulah Striblin Rollins.  He was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church and had retired from the Alabama State Highway Department.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mavis Irene Rollins; sister, Della Walker.
