Funeral services for Thomas W. Fitzgerald, age 82, of Roanoke, will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with  Parker Barber officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 26th.

Mr. Fitzgerald passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at his home.

Survivors include one daughter, Stella Fitzgerald of Roanoke; one son, Larry Bagley of Roanoke; two sisters, Debbie Fitzgerald and Tina McAuther, both of Lake Wales, FL; one brother, Paul Fitzgerald of Okeechobee, FL; three grandchildren; and his best friend, Peggie Nutt (Darrell) of Roanoke.

A Pitts, Georgia native, Mr. Fitzgerald was born October 6, 1940, the son of John and Stella McClendon Fitzgerald.  He had been employed with 1944 Glaziers Union.  Mr. Fitzgerald loved his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Brenda Fitzgerald; and a brother, Gerald Fitzgerald.
