Funeral services for Brian Alan George, age 60, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Donnie Pike and Pastor Jeff Sheffield officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 PM on Saturday before services begin.

Mr. George passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA.

Survivors include: one daughter, Allison George of Chickamauga, GA; one son, Julian George of Chickamauga, GA; one grandchild, Ethan Cates; one brother, John George of Johnson City, TN; two stepsisters, April Harrod of Wedowee and Lisa Ferguson of Birmingham; and his significant other, Traci Amiri.

A Maryland native, Mr. George was born on December 26, 1962, the son of John C. George, Sr., and Jane Alice Knott George.  He was a United States Navy veteran who retired with 23 years of service.  Mr. George was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Herman Wallace Burke; and one brother, Patrick Leo George.
