Memorial services for Arthur Leslie “Les” Weaver, age 81, of Roanoke, formerly of Wadley, will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at North Main Congregational Christian Church with Bro. Kenneth Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow at Concord Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Weaver passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the home of his caregiver in Wadley.

A Birmingham native, Mr. Weaver was born October 9, 1942, the son of Ernest Maddison and Sara Marie Grizzard Weaver.  He had retired from the U. S. Navy and was a member of North Main Congregational Christian Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sandra Sue Pidcock Weaver. 

Memorials may be floral or the family suggests contributions to Concord Baptist Primitive Baptist Church cemetery fund.
