Funeral services for Ethel Blanche Smith Yarbrough, age 83, of Archer, FL, formerly of Roanoke, will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 18, 2012, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow in Cedarwood Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 18, 2012, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Yarbrough died Sunday, August 12, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Yarbrough is survived by her husband, Willie Paul Yarbrough of Archer, FL; one son, Tommy Wayne (wife Deborah) Yarbrough of Gainesville, FL; two sisters, Sybiline Smith of Archer, FL, Louise Overton of Roanoke; three grandchildren.
Mrs. Yarbrough was born January 19, 1929, the daughter of Homer Clifford and Mary Lou Richardson Smith. She was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a textile spinner for Wehadkee Yarn Mills. Mrs. Yarbrough was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Dewey Jewell Smith; two sisters, Ruby Smith Brown and Eva Boice Smith. Flowers will be accepted or donations to one favorite hospice.
