Dorothy May Sanders, 83, of Roanoke passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at her residence.

The family will receive friends at Quattlebaum Funeral Home on Monday, January 1, 2024, from 2:00-5:00 PM.

Survivors include: one daughter, Stephanie Sanders of Roanoke; one son, Timothy Sanders (Jessica) of Roanoke; five grandchildren, Mellissa, Bradley, Correy, Kaitlyn, and Madison; three sisters, Maryann Cavallero, Patty Kay, and Charlotte Carvalho; and one brother, Mike Rosenberger.

A Medford, Oregon native, Mrs. Sanders was born on May 23, 1940, the daughter of Norman and Dorothy May McKenzie Rosenberger.  She was Christian by faith and was a member of the Mill Creek Four Square Church in Everett, Washington.  Mrs. Sanders was a homemaker, a wonderful mother and grandmother, and loved her family very much.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Julie Ann Sanders and Carolee Sanders; and one brother, Norman Rosenberger.
