Obituary of Juan Allen Trask

Juan Allen Trask, age 64, of Roanoke passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, at Piedmont Columbus Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia.

The family will receive friends at Quattlebaum Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.

Survivors include: one daughter, Jenny Veal (Josh Cofield) of Roanoke; three sons, Allen Ussery Trask (Destiny Faith) and Adam Juan Trask (Gabrielle Nichole), both of Roanoke, and Kevin Ryan Trask of Clearfield, UT; eight grandchildren; his father, Allen Trask of Waterloo, IA; his mother, Hope Esperanza of San Antonio, TX; the mother of his children, Jennifer Beth Smith of Roanoke; two sisters, Dawn Trask (Sara) and Kelly Laurie, both of Des Moines, IA; one brother, Troy Trask (Dianna) of Wellsburg, IA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Corpus Christi, Texas native, Mr. Trask was born on October 13, 1959, the son of Allen Burdette and Hope Esperanza Trask.  He was Espiscopalian by faith and was a retired veteran of the United States Army where he served in both Desert Shield and Desert Storm.  Mr. Trask was also retired from Mohawk Industries.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Bottomley.

Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to Quattlebaum Funeral Home to go toward final expenses.
