Funeral services for Garfield Clark, age 81, of Roanoke will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Scott Whaley officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday before services begin. 

Mr. Clark passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2024, at his residence.

Survivors include his loving wife, Paulette Burke Clark of Roanoke; two daughters, Cindy Clark and Angel Payne (Richard) both of Roanoke; one son, Jeff Clark (Kathy) of Wedowee; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren with one more on the way.

Pallbearers will be Cody Clark, Russell Clark, Lawrence Payne, Ryan Payne, Dallas Vineyard, and Tanner Landreth. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Clark, Jr. and Eric Payne.

A lifelong resident of Randolph County, Mr. Clark on July 31, 1942, the son of Eulues Garfield “E.G.”, Sr. and Iva Dale Brown Clark. He was Christian by faith and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mr. Clark was self-employed as a machinist at Clark Machine Shop in Roanoke for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents .

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Faith Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 305, Roanoke, AL, 36274.
