Funeral services for Gereldia Juanita Adamson, age 94, of Newnan, GA, will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 1:00 PM CDT at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Tom Puymbrouck.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-1:00 PM CDT on Monday before services begin.

Ms. Adamson passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Newnan Health & Rehab in Newnan, GA.

Survivors include: two sisters, Helen Marie Hannah of Calhoun, GA, and Toby Hornsby of Centralhatchee, GA; and one brother, Curtis Edward Adamson of Newnan, GA.

A Randolph County native, Ms. Adamson was born on January 8, 1930, the daughter of Henry Lane and Vera Mozel Hall Adamson.  She worked as a winder in the textile industry until retirement and after retirement, worked at Burger King.  Ms. Adamson was a member of Rock Mills Methodist Church.  She was a strong-willed, independent woman who stayed on the go and loved to travel.  Ms. Adamson was preceded in death by her parents, Lane and Mozel Adamson; sisters, Irma Jean Pike and Melba Richardson; and brother, Awbrey Orville Adamson.
