Aunt Patsy these last five years here with you have been something else to say the least. You had the biggest care free attitude and never met a stranger, ESPECIALLY at Walmart. Quattlebaum’s was founded in 1930 by Robert B. Quattlebaum on Roanoke’s West Point Street. Relocated to Maple Drive, Quattlebaum Funeral Home was just across from Knight Sanatorium for many years. In 1953, a new building was constructed on College Street – where the funeral home is today.
