Graveside services for John Frederick Amos, age 34, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, May 25 at 1:00 PM at Randolph Memory Gardens with Bruce Latimer officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

 The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 – 1:00 PM on Saturday before services begin.

Mr. Amos passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Survivors include his mother, Brenda Amos of Roanoke; father, Frederick Amos (Allison); two sisters, Meg Amos and Olivia Amos; and one brother, James Amos.

A Troup County native, Mr. Amos was born on March 24, 1990, the son of Frederick Amos and Brenda Teet Amos.  He loved reading, guns, and playing video games.  Mr. Amos was preceded in death by his grandparents, Franklin & Frances Teet and Johnny & Marie Amos.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to Quattlebaum Funeral Home to go toward final expenses.
