Obituary of Larry U Henry

Larry U. Henry, age 78, of Roanoke passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at his residence.

Survivors include: two sisters, Donna Hendrix (Anthony) and Jennifer Smith (John), both of Roanoke; four brothers, Ussery Henry, Jr. of Roanoke, Marvin Henry (Penny) of Tennessee, John Calvin Henry of Roanoke, and Manley Henry of Luthersville, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A LaGrange native, Mr. Henry was born on November 29, 1946, the son of Ussery M. and Margie Hancock Henry.  He was Baptist by faith, worked as an accountant for Brown & Root Construction and was an Elvis impersonator in Las Vegas.  Mr. Henry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wanda J. Henry; one daughter, Larissa Henry; one son, Larry K. Henry; one brother, Timothy D. Henry; and a special friend, Catherine Goodson.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
