Graveside services for Walter Radford Bailey, Jr., age 87, of Rock Mills, will be held, Sunday, September 30, 2012, at 2:00 pm from Randolph Memory Gardens with Rev. Frank Foster, Sr. officiating. Quattlebaum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday, September 29th, at the funeral home.
Mr. Bailey died Thursday, September 27, 2012, at East Alabama Medical Center.
Mr. Bailey is survived by his sister-in-law, Rilma Bailey of Roanoke; two nephews, Rueben Bailey and Robert Bailey, Jr. both of Roanoke; and three cousins.
Mr. Bailey was born August 15, 1925, the son of Walter Radford Bailey, Sr. and Minnie Lee Burdette Bailey. He had worked as a fixer with Wehadkee, Milliken, and Roanoke Mills. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Sam Bailey.
