Obituary of Mary Louise Pool
Graveside services for Mary Louise Pool, age 75, of Roanoke, formerly of Orlando, FL, will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM at High Pine Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Jerome Fincher officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pool passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024, at her sister’s residence in Roanoke.
Survivors include: two sisters, Patricia Livingston of Roanoke and Shirley Stephens (Paul) of Florida; a niece, Kristina Guse (Stevie) of Florida; and two nephews, Christopher Roark (Megan) and James Roark, both of Florida.
Pallbearers will be Roger Cerovsky, Tommy Cain, and Tom Lettieri.
An Orlando, Florida native, Mrs. Pool was born in Knoxville, TN, on December 30, 1948, the daughter of Vernon and Beatrice Bernice Dodson Roark. She was a member of High Pine Baptist Church and worked for Suntrust Bank before retirement. Mrs. Pool was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William “Bill” Herald Pool; and siblings, James Roark and Brenda Beavers.
Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to the High Pine Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
