Obituary of Brenda L. Brown
Graveside services for Brenda L. Brown, age 81, of Rock Mills will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Randolph Memory Gardens with Bro. Mike Brewer officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00-10:45 AM on Thursday before services begin.
Mrs. Brown passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Wellstar West Georgia Hospice in LaGrange, Georgia.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Perry (Blake) of Rock Mills; three grandchildren, Amy Bennett, Ashley Burks, and Steven Perry (Jessica); six great-grandchildren, Dalton Bennett, Mallory Burks, Kaleigh Burks, Madalyn Perry, Myleigh Perry, and Maleah Perry; and a special aunt, Maynona Hogan.
Pallbearers will be Terry Wade, Scott Wade, Danny Wade, Kerry Burks, Steven Perry, Blake Perry, and Dalton Bennett.
Mrs. Brown was born in Chambers County on October 15, 1942, the daughter of Leroy and Mary Fulghum Wade. She attended Center Chapel Church and worked at Palm Beach until they closed and then at Franklin Aluminum after that. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Helton Duane “Doodle” Brown; a daughter, Pam Burks; and brothers, Norman Wade, Larry Wade, Haywood Wade, and Jerry Wade.
