Funeral services for Michael “Micky” Henry, age 63, of Wadley will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 11:00 AM at High Pine Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Black officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. 

The family will receive friends at the church from 9:00-11:00 AM on Saturday before services begin.

Mr. Henry passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Henry of Wadley; three sons, Michael Jason “Jake” Henry of Dickert, Justin Adam Henry (Dorothy) and Joshua Kyle Henry (Jessica), both of Roanoke; daughter, Carrie Royster Wood (Johnny) of Lanett; four grandchildren, Kaylyn Keebler (Kaleb Laney), Eli Henry, Hannah Henry, and Gauge Henry; one sister, Gena Henry of Roanoke; a niece, Dakota Pike (River) of Roanoke; a nephew, Colten Cofield of Anniston; and a host of cousins.

Pallbearers will be Colten Cofield, Johnny Wood, Kevin Baldwin,  Clint Loveless, Joe Anglin, Eddie Baldwin, and Hunter Burdette.

A Roanoke native, Mr. Henry was born on June 30, 1960, the son of Buddy and Sue Baldwin Henry.  He was a member of High Pine Baptist Church and had served in the National Guard.  Mr. Henry worked at Amoco in the beaming department and more recently part-time in the meat department at WM Grocery.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
