Funeral services for, Jim W. Dunson, Sr., age 79, of Auburn, will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 9, 2012, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Brian Moore officiating. Burial to follow in Cedarwood Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at the funeral home.
Mr. Dunson died Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Bethany House.
Mr. Dunson is survived by one daughter, Ginny Mann of Phenix City; one son, Jim Dunson, Jr. and wife Lisa of Conyers, GA; two sisters, Lucie Ozley of Phoenix, AZ, and Sarah Anderson of Ruskin, FL; three brothers, Charles Dunson of Cleveland, TN, Sam Dunson and John Dunson both of St. Petersburg, FL; five grandchildren; one great grandchild.
Mr. Dunson was born February 10, 1933, the son of Leroy and Avis Marie Bassett Dunson. He was of the Baptist faith and had been a self-employed salesman. Mr. Dunson was preceded in death by his parents.
