I bought that little Angel figurine from Habitat for Humanity a couple days ago with my Son Jeffrey Jr. in Lagrange, GA. George and I would go there from time to time. Yesterday are the pictures when Jeffrey and I were at your grave, me placing it there. We also ate at Hog Waller Cafe in Centrallhatchee. I told Jeffrey that you and I ate there once. (It was when George and I were visiting George's Father Earl Wilford Steele grave.) From time to time on our way to Bowden Junction Flea Market in Carrollton, GA. George left all those statues that you see on the Steele grave above George's. And it just worked out that the booth that Jeffrey and I were in was the one that George and I sat in when the first and only time we had a chance to, ate at Hog Waller Cafe in Centrallhatchee, GA. I am from Franklin, GA. I went to Elementary School in Centrallhatchee. Both George and I have relatives buried there. They all are in good company. I miss every where that I lived in Franklin during my first 19 years there and my hometown.

If George were here this past Saturday he would be saying all kind of curse words. (And I would have to hear them, not that I cared about the words (I use plenty of them from time to time). I don't even follow football. But what he liked, I liked.) Like he does any time that Alabama may lose a game. Alabama 35 Vanderbilt 40. That does not mean that it's over. ROLL TIDE! FOR GEORGE. I miss my baby. We each had the other back. And this is no different. <3

March 3, 2023. Notice that George is wearing my Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System jacket. It was a little chilly in the restaurant. Also. I left my Hyundai umbrella there by accident. I liked that umbrella. It was the windproof kind with the half moon handle. : /

Roll Tide baby. Alabama Crimson Tide got the first touchdown. I am here in the living room letting the first Game play all the way throughout. For George. I really don't understand the plays and all. Never have throughout my 50 years. I am not a sports fan. Had to get someone to explain them. Most recently George. Never tried to understand them. Will watch this first game and the last. As long as Alabama is in it. <3

Georgia 34 Alabama 41. I wish you were here George. At the last touchdown I hollered "TOUCHDOWN ALABAMA!" like you used to do. <3

(I am not replying to anyone here. I am just saying my words in reply to what I posted) I said that was the first game. Well it is the first game that I have watched since George passed August 18, 2024. You do the math. I really don't care about any sports or any watching of it on TV. All those of other games came after George passed this year. I have been grieving and still am. It comes with the territory.

lol. But it WAS MY idea to go to Rama Jama and at least sit beside the stadium. I wanted us to go to a game there but he said no that costs too much. We could have afforded it. At different times in our lives together. George and I did have a good life together. Throughout all of the bends in the road. I will never forget him.

I did make George and I pigs in blankets deviled eggs he made Rotel at various times just little snacks during some college games. And during the NFL Superbowl. It was a party of two. : ) Only reason that I like the Superbowl is because of the crazy commercials and the food. lol

I made myself a grilled cheese sandwich last night and ate a pickle spear. Things are getting better. I am learning to live without you. But !#^%$^? I love you and I miss you. We were together for 11 years.

George's headstone. His Father's (Earl Wilford Steele) grave is above and to the left. You can see it in the picture. George and I would sometimes take little statues to decorate his Father's grave on our way to Bowden Junction Flea Market (West Georgia Flea Market) in Carrollton, GA. In the next few days I will bring a little statue for George. I miss you George. George really would like this headstone.

A picture that I took while George and I were sitting on the front porch on October 22, 2023. Exactly eleven months ago. I have posted many things on George's tribute page since he passed, then deleted them the next day or a few days after. This picture WAS taken 11 months ago. Time stamped in my Google photos. I didn't plan on posting this tonight. I had totally forgotten the date that I took this photo with my phone. Not that I was trying to remember the date that I took this photo. I just wanted him to be remembered. Even if it just shows a Moon. Well we sat under that Moon. <3 I miss you George. I will always love you.

Q: How did you meet George?
A: At Bway in Lagrange Georgia as coworkers. We got to talking and the rest is history. George really was a hard worker there. He really impressed me with the way he put the seals on those bucket lids. Running back and forth between machines. I did too. We all did. I had a little trouble at one time putting the seals on the bucket lids and he came over and helped me. I will miss my friend. "Go rest High on that Mountain. Son your work on Earth is done."
