Obituary of James Denton McInvale

OBITUARY Funeral services for James Denton McInvale, age 76, of Wadley, will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 18, 2012, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Johnny Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 17th. Mr. McInvale died Friday, October 12, 2012, at Well Star Douglas Hospital in Douglasville, Ga. Survivors include his wife, Janice Sasser McInvale of Wadley; four daughters, Kathy McInvale Gersch (Andy), Patty McInvale Bennett (Mark), Dianna McInvale Gabriel (Nick) and Loretta Lynn McInvale Sherman, all of Roanoke; one son, James Dean McInvale of Hudson, Florida; three sisters, Sandra Horton of Ayden, NC, Freida Waller of Columbia, Maryland, and Patsy Mendoza of Reynolds, Georgia; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be his son, James Dean McInvale; sons-in-law, Andrew Gersch, Mark Bennett, Nick Gabriel; grandsons, Albert Gersch and Nicholas Aaron Gabriel II. A Pottersville, Georgia native, Mr. McInvale was born December 27, 1935, son of Napolean Thomas and Nettie Louise Childree McInvale. He was a self-employed auto mechanic.
