Deborah Rose Hendley Young, age 67, of Roanoke passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at her residence.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Dylan Hendley of Roanoke, Brittany Hendley of Wadley, and Paige Windsor of Opelika; a sister, Evelyn Young of Roanoke; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 nephews, Jeffrey Young and James Young; a niece, Megan Young; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Ms. Young was born in LaGrange, Georgia on December 14, 1956, the daughter of Howard Monroe and Sara Frances Harris Hendley. She had been employed at Plantation Patterns in the quality control department. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Mickle young; son, Thomas Edward Hendley; sister, Kutine Smith and a brother, Billy Wayne Hendley.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to Quattlebaum Funeral Home to assist with final expenses at 319 College Street, Roanoke, Alabama 36274.
