Calvin Roy Walker age 88 of Roanoke, Alabama
Mr. Walker peacefully went to be with his beloved wife Bea in Heaven at Wellstar Medical Center in Lagrange, Ga. on September 28, 2024
Survivors include his children, Theresa Mitchum (Keith), Sherry Walker, Calvin Walker Jr. (Jennifer), Denise Diamond (George), and Chris Walker (Darciss); 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; his stepbrothers, Jerry Walker and Bruce Walker (Dorothy)
Mr. Walker was born on May 5, 1936 the son of Lewis and Virginia Walker in Opelika, Al. In 1954 he enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1958. He married Beatrice Cornelius September 5, 1956 in Lafayette, Al. They had five children. He was an employee at West Point Pepperell Mill until his retirement as a supervisor in 1999.
He was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice, parents, step mother, three brothers, two sisters and a sister in law
