Funeral services for Tammy Henderson Rice, age 53, of Roanoke, will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Scott Whaley and Sister Denise McGill officiating.  Burial will follow at Rock Springs Congregational Christian Church.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 6th, prior to services.

Ms. Rice passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at East Alabama Medical Center.

Survivors include her daughter, Stacey Rice, of Roanoke; her father, Dale Wayne Henderson; aunts and uncles, Willene Kelly, Angie Mintz, and Randy Langley, and several cousins.

Pallbearers will be Barry Waldrep, Zack Langley, Robbie Ussery, Preston McGill, James McGill, and Dale McGill.

A life-long Randolph County resident, Ms. Rice was born on April 9, 1971, daughter of Dale Wayne Henderson and Florence Irene Waldrep Henderson.  She attended Faith Baptist Church and Rock Springs Congregational Christian Church. She loved crafting, her family, and animals, especially her cat.  Her daughter, Stacey, was her pride and joy.  Ms. Rice was preceded in death by her mother, three aunts and one uncle.
