Funeral services for Janice Mae Sasser McInvale, age 81, of Wadley will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Scott Dukus officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Friday before services begin.

Mrs. McInvale passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at LaFayette Nursing Home.

Survivors include: four daughters, Pattie Bennett (Mark), Kathy Gersch (Andy), Loretta Lynn McInvale and Dianna Gabriel (Nick); sister, Judy Achemeier (Lonnie) ; three brothers, Bob Sasser (Rita), Earl Sasser and Bill Sasser (Teresa); grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Massey, Tiffany Bennett, Bre’Anna Williams, Albert Gersch, Cynthia Rogers, Tonia Michelle, Wendy Gabriel, Holly Hanvey, and Nick Gabriel, Jr.; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, Tyson Rogers, Cynthia Deramus, Allen Deramus, Christopher Deramus, Bobby Sasser, Jr., Amanda Blevins, Tammy Sasser, Megan Sasser, Johnny Sasser, Tiffany Sasser, Kayla Elliott, Katherine Worrell, Cecil Sasser, Jr., Quincy Sasser, Bryan Sasser and Willina Sasser Wyantt.

Mrs. McInvale was born on December 16, 1942, the daughter of Quinton Monroe and Katherine Cannon Sasser. She worked as a seamstress at Butte Knit and as a presser at the local dry cleaners. Mrs. McInvale was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Denton McInvale, son, James Dean McInvale; infant daughter, Patricia Kathleen McInvale; and granddaughter, Adrianna Sims.
