Obituary of Alma Knight Treadwell

Funeral services for Alma K. Treadwell, age 97, of Melbourne, Florida, will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel, officiated by Heather Pennington and Josh Lott, with Quattlebaum Funeral Home handling arrangements. Burial will follow at Rock Stand Congregational Christian Church Cemetery

The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM at the funeral home before the service.

Mrs. Treadwell passed away on December 1, 2024. She was passionate about gardening and would find her outside playing in the dirt all the way up to her 97th birthday. She also spent most of her life reading God’s Word and sharing her faith with others.

Survived by her daughter Janice Lott and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was a devoted Christian and housewife. She was preceded in death by her husband Ned and four siblings. Memorials will be floral.
