OBITUARY
Graveside service for Gary Gene Hand, age 61, of Roanoke, will be held 12:00 noon, November 6, 2012, from Randolph Memory Gardens with Rev. Keith Benefield and Rev. Gerald Sheppard officiating. Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hand died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Hand is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Pritchett of Rock Mills; his mother, Betty Jean Gilford of Roanoke; step-father, Wilber (Bubba) Gilford of Roanoke; one brother, Danny Hand and wife Donna of Rock Mills; God son and daughter, Timmy Williamson and Amber Elliott both of Rock Mills.
Mr. Hand was born, October 20, 1951, the son of John Donovan and Betty Jean Brand Hand. He had worked as an electronic mechanic for Sara Lee Hosiery and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Hand was preceded in death by his father; one son, Sunny Gene Hand.
