Obituary of Martha Kate McGill

Graveside services for Martha Kate McGill, 84, of Wadley, will be held 2:00 pm, Nov. 8 2012, from Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Rev. Phillip Gore officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends Wednesday Nov. 7, 2012 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. McGill died November 6, 2012, at Clay County Hospital. She is survived by three daughters; Sheila McGill Moore of Pell City, Elsie Kay (Jeff) Jordan of Huntsville, and Terri (Mike) Atkins of Wadley; one brother, Junior Allen of Lagrange , GA; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mrs. McGill was born December 15, 1927, in Daviston, AL, the daughter of Hubert and Clarice Herring Allen. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. Mrs. McGill was preceded in death by her parents and her husband William Worth McGill.
