OBITUARY
Funeral services for Aldecie Butler, age 82, of Five Points, will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 17, 2012, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mark McGee. Burial to follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, November 16, 2012 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Alex Floyd, Sean Michaels, Randall Sheppard, Jamie Ellis, Jermany Autrey and Michael Lyons.
Mrs. Butler died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Butler is survived by two daughters, Dianne Floyd of West Point, Margaret Sheppard of Standing Rock; three sons, Willie Joe Autrey, Stanley Autrey and Jerry Autrey all of Standing Rock; three sisters, Grace Bates of Standing Rock, Hazel Butts of Valley, Claudine Pate of Columbus, GA; one brother, Ray Simpson of Roanoke; eleven grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Butler was born February 21, 1930, the daughter of Walter William and viola Simmons Simpson. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and had worked as a physical therapist for the Brian Center Nursing Home. Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by two husbands, Willie Autrey and Herman Butler; her parents; one grandson, Stanley Sheppard; three sisters, Louise Marshall; Naomie Floyd and Juddie Chambers.
