OBITUARY
Funeral services for, Hulon Parrish, age 93, of Roanoke, will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 1, 2012, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Billie Watts officiating. Burial to follow in Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be his Nephews.
Mr. Parrish died, Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Traylor's Retirement Community.
He is survived by two step-daughters, Willardean Benefield Roddam and Betty Benefield both of Panama City, FL; two step-grandchildren; two sisters, Christine Lane and Dean Phips.
Mr. Parrish was born April 20, 1919, the son of Mitchell Franklin and Nannie Lee Carson Parrish. She was a member of Roanoke North Main Christian Church, had worked for West Point Pepperell, and served in the United States Army during WWII. Mr. Parrish was preceded in death by his wife, Nona Mae French Parrish; his parents; two sisters; two brothers.
