Obituary of Bobbie Dawn Bennett

Funeral services for Bobbie Dawn Bennett, age 48, of Wadley, will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Hope Memorial Christian Church with Rev. Bobby Burroughs officiating. Ms. Bennett will lie in state one hour before the service at the church. Burial to follow in Forrester's Chapel Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, December 28, 2012 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ben Bennett, Tim Bennett, Adam Polston, Todd Polston, Michael Caypless, and Chad Mitchum. Honorary pallbearers will be Chanse Bennett and Justin Pearl. Ms. Bennett passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at her home. Ms. Bennett is survived by two daughters, Rebekah Carin Whaley and Alyssa Naomi Whaley both of Wadley; one son, Jason Adam Whaley of Colorado Springs, CO; mother, Norma Jean Denham of Wadley; one sister, Debbie Polston of Palmyra, TN; three brothers, Brad, Mike and Jimmy Bennett all of Wadley; two grandchildren, Sophia Whaley and Ellieana Grace Whaley. Ms. Bennett was born, February 28, 1964, the daughter of Bobby G. and Norma Jean Atkins Bennett. She was a member of the Hope Memorial Christian Church and had been a homemaker and devoted mother.
