Obituary of Elizabeth Mildred Royston

OBITUARY Funeral services for Betty Royston, age 86, of Roanoke, will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, January 11, 2013, from the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ralph Barrow officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Friday, January 11th at the church. Pallbearers will be Wayne Hodges, Andy Jackson, Luke Denton, Steve Dean. Mrs. Royston died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at her son's residence. Mrs. Royston is survived by one daughter, Chris and husband Jerry Baker of Hoover; one son, Billy and wife Becky Royston of Roanoke; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren. Mrs. Royston was born May 26, 1926, the daughter of Edward and Christine Handley Teichmiller. She was a member of the Roanoke First United Methodist Church and had been co-owner of Otasco in Roanoke. Mrs. Royston was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Royston; her parents.
