OBITUARY
Funeral services for Ms. Edith Lois Hale Brown, of Roanoke, age 80, will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, January 16, 2010 from the Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bishop Michael Spires officiating. Burial to follow in Cedarwood Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, January 16, 2010.
Ms. Brown died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at LaGrange Nursing and Rehab.
Survivors include two nieces and two nephews.
Pallbearers will be Stoney Hale, Mark Hale, Calvin Worthey, Tyler Worthey and Billy Henry, Randy Talley.
Ms. Brown was born September 20, 1929, the daughter of Millard and Mattie Baldwin Hale. She was a member of the Atlanta Light House Church and had been a secretary for Bearden Thompson Electric Company. Ms. Brown was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Eulas and Buddy Hale; one sister, Mary Joyce Hale .
