Obituary of Eunice Obelee Hood

OBITUARY Funeral services for Eunice Obelee Hood, age 77, of Roanoke, will be held 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 31, 2013, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Whaley officiating and Dardin Arrington delivering a eulogy. Burial to follow in Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Hood died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Hood is survived by her daughter, Kelly Hood Frye and husband Tim of Roanoke; one son, Kenneth Lee Hood of Roanoke; one sister, Lucrete Smith of Roanoke; two grandchildren. Hunter and Hallie Frye. Mrs. Hood was born September 1, 1935, the daughter of James Nolen and Carrie Bell Heard Arrington. She was a member of Forest Home Congregational Christian Church and had worked as a seamstress for Palm Beach.
