Funeral services for James Phillip (Phil) Hill, 43, of Lineville, formerly of Roanoke, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 12, 2013, from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Benefield officiating. Burial will follow in Wehadkee Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 11th at the funeral home.
Mr. Hill died Wednesday, April 10th at his residence.
Survivors include two sisters, Sharon Brown of Roanoke and Sonya Blackmon of Lineville; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ray Blackmon, Michael Kirby, Roy Glass, Scott Brown, Neil Glass and Butch Pike.
Mr. Hill was born December 1, 1969, the son of James Alvin and Jackie Lee Pike Hill in Roanoke, AL. He was Baptist by faith. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Buford Hill.
