Graveside services for William Roger Anglin, age 81, of Lakeland, FL, will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at High Pine Baptist Church Cemetery with Jack Anglin delivering the eulogy. Quattlebaum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at the funeral home.
Mr. Anglin died Monday, May 20, 2013, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Anglin is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Darcy Anglin and Alan and Sandy Anglin all of Lakeland, FL; sixteen grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Anglin of Roanoke and Frank Anglin of Lakeland, FL.
Pallbearers will be Andy Anglin, Adam Anglin, Austin Anglin, Jacob Anglin, Tyler Thompson, and Phelan Gallegos.
Mr. Anglin was born February 6, 1932, son of Oliver William and Mary Lou Pool Anglin. He was a member of Family Worship Center in Lakeland and was formerly a High Pine Baptist Church deacon and song leader. He also served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and had been employed with Publix.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to High Pine Baptist Church (c/o Manley Clack, 1048 Chestnut, Roanoke, AL 36274) or Family Worship Center (1350 E Main Street, Lakeland, FL 33801).
